I've lost my mind, I've lost my mind, I've lost my mind! Naira thought as she nervously walked from one side of a tree to the other side of it. Why had she come here? To go on a date with somebody, who was supposed to be her enemy. Meaning if Valendra found out about this little date, or even worse Satan, then she was in big trouble. Yep, I've lost my mind.

Then suddenly someone grabbed her by her shoulder, startling said girl. Instinctively she raised her arm as she turned around, ready to hit whoever it was, when she saw it was "Hayden!" The angel blinked surprised his eyes as he looked at her raised fist before chuckling and grabbing it. "You're more dangerous than you look. If I had been a pervert then I surely would've been in trouble." Naira's cheeks heated up in embarrassment as she pulled her hand back from the angel's grip. "S-sorry, I didn't know it was you…" Hayden smiled at her and shook his head. "It's ok. I guess you were expecting to see a demon rather than your own date." He said a bit playfully. Naira softly chuckled at that and rubbed the back of her head. "Yeah, I suppose so…"

The angel smiled but blinked his eyes when he took a closer look at the girl. "Say Naira…those clothes…" Naira's cheeks turned now a shade of red instead of pink. "Y-yeah? What about them?"

"They uhm, well they're adorable."
"T-thanks, I guess."
"I didn't know you wear this kind of clothing. Actually they remind me a lot of Wendy's style."

Naira looked down at herself and felt like she could die from embarrassment. She was wearing a black pleated skirt like one of those Japanese school girls, a jeans colored shirt with an Alice in Wonderland picture, stockings that reached over her knees and she had put a black ribbon in her hair. But this outfit obviously didn't belong to her.

Since Naira was remaining silent and didn't look Hayden in the eye, the angel understood what was going on. "They aren't yours are they? They're Wendy's?"

Naira's face possibly couldn't get anymore red as she looked at the ground. She felt caught red handed and embarrassed. Hayden however felt differently. As he was looking at the girl, his cheeks slightly heated up. She borrowed clothes from Wendy? Just to look cute…for me…? The angel couldn't hide a big and rather goofy smile. That's so adorable! He pulled the girl into a hug and gently stroked her hair to calm her down. "Oh Naira, you don't need these kind of clothes to look pretty or cute, because you already are. Though I have to admit that this outfit suits you well." Naira was still a little embarrassed, but was happy with his compliment and smiled. "Thanks…" She mumbled. "You look good as well." The angel smiled at her warmly as he gently ruffled her hair. "Thank you."

Naira never really cared for looks, but damn. This guy could easily be mistaken for a movie star or a model. As the green haired girl looked at him she couldn't help, but to imagine him as a character out of a book or a movie. He looked really handsome with his white shirt, black jacket and grey jeans. Suddenly the angel raised his arm and revealed a classic picnic basket. "Well, shall we eat? You must be starving right?" Surprised Naira blinked her eyes as she looked at the basket. "Where did you suddenly get that from?"
"Hmm? I was carrying it this whole time Naira."

"I didn't see that! But where was it when you were hugging me-?"
"I had put it down on the ground before holding you." Suddenly the boy couldn't hide a small smirk. "Well you had been staring at my face the whole time, so it's understandable you didn't notice." In 0.3 seconds the girl's cheeks turned so red that a tomato would be jealous. "I-I wasn't staring at you!" Hayden chuckled and smiled warmly at her. "If you say so. Well let's go." He said as he offered her his arm. Naira sighed and hooked her arm in his. She had a feeling she'd be blushing a lot today.

"Oh boy, I hope those dark clouds don't come any near us…" Naira mumbled, more to herself then to her companion, as she watched the shifting clouds in the distance. Hayden, who had just taken a bite from his sandwich, looked up and frowned before shrugging. "Well, if they do then I guess we'll have to come up with another activity for our date." Then he smirked at her. "Oh and I brought an umbrella, so don't worry about getting Wendy's clothes wet." Naira couldn't help but to blush and quickly started sipping from her juice, pretending she hadn't heard him.

The wind gently brushed through the tree leaves and played with Naira's greenish hair. This didn't go unnoticed by Hayden, since he couldn't help but to stare at her. She looks gorgeous. The angel thought dreamingly. Unfortunately for him didn't his staring go unnoticed by the girl either. Instantly her face lit up like a candle as she shyly asked "I-is something the matter?" Hayden, who finally snapped out of it, blinked surprised his eyes before looking away with slightly flushed cheeks. "Ah! No, no nothing at all." Naira, embarrassed now, returned her attention to her juice, trying not to blush any harder. Oh God I'm so nervous!
It's going to be fine, Naira. Lilith said encouragingly to her. Then it was as if she heard someone clicking their tongue, though she knew it was all in her head. Jesus Naira, dun't be such a pussy! Woman up will ya! He ain't gonna bite ya!

Naira gulped and nervously wet her lips as she glanced at her date. Argh, Emet is right. I got to act cool. She tried to come up with a good topic to talk about, but couldn't find anything better to say then "Ah…this really is a good place to pick-nick." Hayden looked up at her with a smile and nodded. "It sure is, it's very peaceful here." That was true, they had chosen an excluded place so nobody was around to bother them. Which is a good thing when you're trying to keep your forbidden date a secret… "You really thought about everything. Food, drinks and even a blanket to sit on!" The angel smiled at her and modestly shrugged his shoulders. "Well, a sir must always make a lady feel comfortable right?" A lady… Nobody had ever called her that before. She smiled back at him. "Well you certainly are a gentleman, that's for sure."

"Well I was raised like that. In fact, in my time it was only proper for a nobleman to act like a gentleman all the time, well at least in public. I was never a big fan of all those formalities, but I always believed you should treat a lady kindly and politely-"
"Wait, wait, wait! YOUR time? When were you born? And you were a nobleman?!" Hayden now slightly blushed, he looked like he had said things he shouldn't have. "Well I…uhm…I don't want to bother you with such boring stories…" Naira wildly shook her head and subconsciously sat a little closer to the angel. "Oh no please tell me! I'd love to hear about your past." Hayden scratched the back of his head and looked away. "Oh I don't know…"
"Oh please Hayden! You already know almost everything about me thanks to Callisto and her big mouth. Isn't it only fair if I know more about you too? I-I mean, we-we're dating after all…" She said with a slight stutter and a blush. Hayden couldn’t help but to smile at her shy behaviour. "Yes, you're right. I'm sorry, do forgive me." He said before grabbing her hand and placing a gentle kiss on it. Naira, now embarrassed by her own behaviour, blushed and shook her head. "No no! You don't have to say sorry. I'm behaving like a child."

"Nonsense! You were right, you deserve to know more about me. Especially since we are dating." He said with a reassuring smile. Naira couldn't help but to smile back at him and nodded. "Ok then…" The young woman took another sip from her juice before looking back at him. "Well, go ahead and tell me about your past, because I'm very curious now." The angel chuckled and shook his head. "Curious little lady." He said playfully, before suddenly getting very serious. Hayden softly inhaled and closed his eyes, as if he was trying to go back to that time. "I was born in 1864 in Yorkshire in England. I lived there for about 6 years with my older brother James and my parents…until my mother died…My father was a cold-hearted and silent man, who had no bond with me nor James. He didn't feel like babysitting all the time so he send James and I to our aunt Grace in London." Hayden softly chuckled, but there was no humour nor joy in it. "Not that that was bad, in fact we were better off with her." Naira smiled at him and subconsciously placed her hand on his. "What was she like?" The angel smiled gently as he looked at the sky, as if he could see her face in front of him. "Kind, she was very kind…even though she had been through so much. The poor woman lost her husband very quickly and because of that she never had children of her own. So she was more than happy to take care of James and me. She always told us how precious we were to her and how she loved us as her own sons."

The young man didn't seem to notice the warmth of Naira's hand or at least wasn't bothered by it, because he said nothing about it. "And your brother James? Was he a good brother?" The angel smiled fondly again. "He was the best brother I could wish for. Even though he was only two years older than me he always looked after me, treated me kindly and even protected me…James was everything I wasn't. Wise, strong, patient, perservering-" Naira giggled at that. "What do you mean he was what you weren't? I think you have all of those qualities." Hayden smiled indulgent at her and shook his head. "I might be strong now as an angel, but I certainly wasn't as a human, I was weak. I'm still not very patient and only got a little bit wiser, but still not enough to stay out of trouble."

"Weak?" A tired sigh escaped the angel's lips as he nodded. "I was sick Naira. Ever since I was little I had a terrible disease that was slowly killing me. The doctors didn't know what it was nor how to cure it…I survived my teenage years, but I died shortly after my 21th birthday."

"That's horrible." Naira said  a bit sadly, but Hayden indifferently shrugged his shoulders. "People die all the time Naira. That's life. Besides I never expected to grow old anyway." Subcounciously the girl squeezed Hayden's hand and he finally seemed to notice it. He smiled at her and tangled their fingers. "Don't make such a face. I lived a good life even if it was short. There are memories that I still and always will treasure." He softly said as he gently stroked her cheek. I was as if he thought her skin was made out of china. Naira softly sighed, before placing her hand over his and snuggled her cheek in his palm. "Even though you say you had a good life…it still saddens me, knowing what you had to go through." Says the girl who went through hell and got back alive. The angel gently smiled at her before placing his finger under her chin, forcing her to look up at him. "Sometimes you are too kind, you know that?" He whispered softly before brushing his lips over Naira's. The girl nearly melted in that kiss, it was the most gentle kiss she had ever had before and send pleasant chills down her spine. When he pulled back, her eyes slowly fluttered open as she whispered "For a Victorian gentleman you're quite bold."

Hayden softly chuckled and pecked her cheek a kiss. "I've changed through all the years, can't stay old-fashioned forever." Naira smirked at that and wrapped her arms around his neck. "That's good since I'm no fan of all those formalities." She pecked his cheeks a few loving kisses before whispering in his ear. "I know I shouldn't fall in love with you since you are supposed to be my enemy…but I guess it's already too late for that. I was already in love with you from the moment you spoke to me…and if me loving you is forbidden, well…then screw heaven and hell." Now it was the angel's turn to smirk as he pulled her closer. "Oh my, now you're the bold one."

Later that day Hayden walked Naira back home after their fun date. "I had so much fun!" Naira said happily as she slightly squeezed Hayden's arm. The angel smiled at her and nodded his head. She's like  a different person then how she normally acts around people. "Yes it sure was." He replied as they arrived at her house. "I hope I can take you on another date soon…?" The angel asked a bi hopefully, which Naira found utterly charming. She smiled at the angel and quickly nodded her head. "Of course! I'll look forward to it." Hayden smirked, took off his hat for a moment (he wore that together with a scarf in front of his mouth and nose to hide his identity) and bowed his head. "So do I, my lady." He said with his deep smooth voice and a typical Brittish accent. Naira chuckled and frowned at him. "How come you suddenly talk with an accent?"

"We angels don't use accents normally so that all people of all races can understand us. We speak all languaes, but if I'd speak German with a French accent I think nobody would understand me." This time Naira laughed and she couldn't remember when the last time was she had laugh so hard. Hayden put his finger in front of his mind as a sign she should be quiet. "Not so loud love, or that demon spouse inside will hear us." The girl immediately placed her hand over her mouth before whispering. "Sorry." Hayden smiled and putt his head back on. "It's alright. Well I need to go now, before somebody recognises me." He bowed his head to her again and was about to leave, when Naira stopped him. She pulled his scarf down and gently kissed him on the lips before whispering in his ear. "I really like you, Hayden." Then she smiled and turned around before walking up the stairs. She unlocked the door and turned one more time around to smile at him before going inside. A sheepish but happy smile spread on the angel's lips as he watched her disappear. "I really like you too…"

"Oh my, how cheesy. It's like I'm watching one of those stupid human movies." Hayden's heart skipped a beat and his eyes widened when he recognised that voice. Then just as fast as the surprise had come did it disappear and was replaced by hatred. With darkened eyes he turned to look at the demon at his left. "How long have you been following us?"

"Long enough to know that you two have been making out all day. Ugh it was quite gross actually, it looked like you two were trying to eat each other's face." Valendra said who was casually leaning against a tree, looking at the angel with a Cheshire grin. Hayden pulled his bracelet of his wrist and was ready to change it into his whip any minute. "You do know I have to kill you now since I know-"

"Wow wow wow! WOW! Chill stupid, first of all, I've known for ages that Naira was all over you and that you've been after her cute little butt. And second, I ain't gonna tell uncle about Naira's and your affair." Hayden huffed and looked at her with a hateful expression. "As if I'd trust you." Annoyed the little demon rolled her eyes and sighed deeply. "Look, I hate you, really much…but I like Naira and for her I'm willing to turn a blind eye." She said as she made a strange sign over her heart, a sign that only angel's and demon's knew the meaning from. "I swear." After a long silence the Hayden finally stopped glaring at her and sighed. "Fine then, but I swear that if you don't keep your promise-"

"Yeah yeah, I know."
"Good." Was all he said before pulling his scarf back over his face. The angel was about to turn around and leave when a soft snigger rolled over the demon's lips. "Besides, I'm doing this for myself as well. If you're dating Naira then you won't get in Wendy's and my way." Hayden rolled his eyes as he looked at her. "Should've known." The purple haired girl grinned, but suddenly looked with a serious expression at her enemy. "Speaking of Wendy, when are you gonna tell Naira about her and you?" A long silence followed after the demon's question, since Hayden remained silent. Then suddenly he turned around "She doesn't need to know." And walked away. As Valendra watched him she huffed and cocked up her head before mumbling to herself . "Well you'll need to tell her one day."
