"So let me get this straight. You're rich- correction, ridiculously rich yet you prefer to take the train instead of a taxi?" Valendra asked annoyed as she sat opposite of Naira. The green haired girl tore her gaze from the window to look at the demon and frowned. "Yeah, so what?" Valendra smacked her forehead and crossed childishly her arms and legs. "I hate trains, you should've ordered a taxi." Naira rolled her eyes before looking back outside the window. "And you should stop being a brat, but I guess neither of us is going to give up." The teenager really disliked this girl. She was conceited, spoiled and childish. The kind of people Naira disliked the most.

Valendra huffed and cocked up her head as she looked at the human. "Watch your tongue human, you might be uncle's favourite, but that won't stop me from harming you." Naira cocked up an eyebrow and couldn't hide a little mocking smirk, this girl really brought the worst in her out. "Oh please, you won't and you can't harm me. If you do so, your uncle will punish you. Now if you have nothing fun to say then please shut up and wait till we arrive." Valendra pouted, this human was no fun. No matter what she said it was as if this girl was unaffected by it. The demon huffed again and looked outside. "I hate the clothes you gave me too. They're so unstylish and they're too big too." Naira looked at the caramel colored sweater and black jeans she had lend the girl. They were indeed a little too big, but that was because the girl was so skinny. She probably has a kid's size. "Well I can't help it you've got no curves." The teenager said casually while shrugging her shoulders. Valendra glared at the human before staring at her chest. "It's not like you've got a size 'E' either."

"At least I have breasts." Naira casually retorted. The demon girl, who's cheeks turned red from embarrassment, clenched her fists and looked away. "Tch!" Was all she could say. Naira sighed and looked back outside. "Look, we'll arrive shortly. So please behave and act like a normal human. If you do, then you can buy whatever you want…as long as it's not inappropriate."

~~~
Naira went from one shop to another, but the demonic girl never seemed pleased. The clothes were to mainstream, the accessories too cheap, the shoes too old fashioned,… Naira was at the end of her nerves when she was walking through the streets with the disagreeable girl by her side. "Seriously, what kind of shops are you taking me to? I thought you were rich?! Take me to some expensive shop already will you. I don't want to wear the same rubbish as you." Ok, that's it! The teenager stopped in her tracks and roughly grabbed the girl by her shoulders. "Enough!"
Valendra blinked surprised her eyes when the human exploded. She hadn't seen this coming. "Listen here you spoiled brat! I am not taking you to some fancy shop ok! I hate those kind of shops and I hate the kind of people they attract! If you want to live with me you are going to wear normal clothes like I do and if you don't like it, then get the hell out of here and leave me alone!"
Passers had stopped with what they were doing to find out what was going on. An older sister scolding her younger sibling perhaps? Naira however could care less what those around her were thinking. This girl's bratiness had to stop and it had to stop NOW. Valendra, who was now more than surprised, stared gobsmacked at the teenager. She couldn't believe it, she really couldn't believe it. She was a 598 year old demon, the niece of the devil himself and she just got scolded by a human. A HUMAN! The only ones to ever scold her were her mother and uncle! How humiliating was that?! Oh how she wanted to teach this girl a lesson…but then she would enrage her uncle. Just thinking about what he could possibly do to her, was enough to stop her from harming the girl.
Valendra pouted and crossed childishly her arms. "Fine…but then you're buying me candy before we go back!" Naira deeply exhaled and let go of the demon's shoulders. She had more the feeling SHE was the babysitter here. "Ok, but only if you behave for the rest of the day." Valendra huffed and rolled her eyes, before she noticed everybody was staring at them. "What are you nosy people looking at? Get the hell out of here!" The passers, surprised by the girl's rude reaction, quickly continued with what they had been doing earlier.
Naira couldn't hide a small smile, she found it quite amusing to look at. Valendra noticed the human's expression and cocked up an eyebrow. "What?"
"Oh, nothing…come on. Let's get you some clothes." Reluctantly the demon girl followed the teenager as they returned to one of the shops from earlier.
~~~

At last the duo had been able to find an appropriate outfit. Valendra was standing in front of a shops' window, looking at her reflection. "I miss my old clothes…but meh, this isn't to bad either." She mumbled to herself as she looked at the outfit. She was wearing black shorts and a plum colored shirt with short sleeves. Her accessories consisted of: a fuchsia  belt and braces, plum colored gloves and a white Victorian like scarf. Her black knee stockings were held up by garter belts and she was wearing dark purple combat boots.

Naira smiled a satisfied smile as she watched the girl and nodded. This looked a lot better than the latex outfit and even Valendra seemed satisfied. "You know, it's too bad you do nothing fun with your hair. It has such a beautiful colour." The teenager said as she looked at the girls pale purple hair. She only now noticed how at the ends the hair turned pink. Valendra looked at Naira's reflection and frowned. "Fun? Like what?"

"Like…uhm…ah! Perhaps a ponytail would suit you." Naira gently grabbed the girls hair and held it up in a ponytail as a demonstration. Valendra slightly tilted her head and hummed in thought. "Hm…that doesn't look to bad. Ok! But then I want my hair to curl at the ends, just like yours!" The demon girl said, while pointing at the two longer strings of Naira's hair in the front. Those had indeed curls. Naira smiled and nodded. "Come on. I'll take you to a shop where they have nice hair accessories." Valendra nodded and followed the human.

Fifteen minutes later the girl's were standing back outside. Naira was busy with pulling Valendra's hair into a ponytail. "Tada! See, I told you it would look good on you." Valendra looked at her reflection in a window and smirked. "Hate to admit it, but it does look good. I don't have any curls yet though…" Naira held the paper bag, with hair accessories, up. "I can't do that here. I'll curl your ponytail when we get home." The demon girl nodded satisfied her head. Her usual smirk spread on her lips. "You still owe me some candy remember." Naira couldn't hide a small smile and rolled her eyes. "Yeah yeah, I know." Valendra cheered and happily followed the teenager as they were heading to the candy shop. Naira looked at the little demon and her smile widened. She really behaves like a child.

Valendra suddenly stopped with walking and stood still in front of window, looking at something with starry eyes. Naira frowned and looked up at the shop's sign: "The Dark Rose". It was one of those alternative shops, which gothic's and alternative teenagers liked to visit. Naira was not against those kind of shops, but it wasn't really her style either. Curiously the teenager walked over to the demon and peered inside the window. "See something you like?" Silently Valendra pointed at what must've been the most bizarre hair pin, Naira had ever seen before. It was a white skull with fork like teeth and pink glitter stones as irises. Naira frowned as she looked at the object, it really was not her style…but if Valendra thought it was pretty… "Come on, it's my treat." She said as she grabbed the demon by the hand and dragged her inside. Valendra blinked surprised her eyes as she was being dragged inside of the shop. "Really? You mean I can have it?"

Naira shrugged and walked over to the pay desk. The shop assistant looked up from her magazine and blew a bubble with her bubble gum. "Can I help you?" She asked with a bored voice as she looked at the strange duo. "Yes, I'd like to buy that skull hair pin in front of the window please." The shop assistant looked at Naira with a look that said: 'YOU wanna buy something like that?' Well she couldn't blame the woman, Naira was the average and normal looking kind of girl…not exactly the type you expect to buy a huge skull hair pin. The woman shrugged and got up, before taking the hair pin out of the window and handing it over to the teenager. Naira paid for the object and went back outside with the girl. "What a surprise, it actually looks good on you." She said as she placed the hair pin in the demon's hair. Valendra happily smiled as she looked at her reflection. "It's gorgeous!~" Naira chuckled and looked with a smile at the girl. "You like it that much?"
"Well yes! I love skulls and its eyes are so shiny!" The demon happily exclaimed as she made a little pirouette. "But-" The girl stopped twirling around and looked with a sly smirk at the human. "You still owe me candy." The teenager blinked at first her eyes before she shook her head and chuckled. "Yes…I know-" Suddenly the girl froze in her spot. She thought she just saw a familiar face among the passers… "Everything ok?" Valendra asked with a frown. Naira forced a smile on her face as she took some money out of her purse and gave it to the demon. "Here's some money, go and buy you some candy."

The demon's frown got bigger as she looked at the money in her hands. "You're not coming with me?" Naira forced a smile on her face and she shook her head. "I just need to go to the bank for something, I promise I won't take long." Valendra stared at the teenager for a long moment, obviously deep in thought. Then at last she shrugged and turned around. "Whatever, just make sure to be quick."And then walked off to the candy shop. As soon as the girl was out of sight Naira ran off. Searching among the many passers, she was looking for that one familiar face. I could've sworn, I just saw- The teenager stopped in her tracks and looked gobsmacked at the person she had been looking for.

A well formed pair of lips twisted into a small smirk. "Surprised to see me back so soon?" Naira subtly gulped, her usual poker face firmly plastered on her face. "Not really, more surprised to see you…like this…" Callisto softly chuckled as she placed her hands on her hips. Unlike last time the woman was wearing a pale jeans, a white shirt, black boots and a red leather jacket. Her wings were missing. "You look so…human…" The angel smiled as she walked over to the girl. "Before I died and became an angel, I WAS a human." Naira took a step back as the woman came closer. Callisto noticed this and stopped in her tracks with a sigh. "Look Naira, I know last time things got out of hand, but I really need to talk to you."

The teenager huffed and narrowed her eyes. "Let me guess, you're gonna preach me and then try to kill me." The angel stared at the human for a long moment, remaining silent and motionless. Then suddenly she raised her hand with its palm up. Within seconds two silver bracelets appeared, it were the ones she had turned into spears that other time. Callisto casually threw them to Naira, who caught them just in time. "Here, now I have no weapons. Are you willing to listen to me now?" Naira stared first at the bracelets before looking at the woman. It was true that she had only used these weapons last time…but what if she had some other power Naira didn't know about it? How big was the chance this was a trap? It would be a guess, a gamble…one Naira was willing to make. "Fine…but don't try to trick me."

Callisto smiled a warm smile, which caused a strange feeling to well up in Naira's belly. "Good, let's go somewhere more quiet…I'll buy you a waffle."

~~~
The two women were walking through the park. Naira nervously took the last bite from her waffle as she glanced at the albino. Damn, I need to make this quick or Valendra will get suspicious. "You formed a contract with him. Didn't you." It wasn't a question, it was a statement. Naira's cheeks heated up as she looked away, subconsciously her hand went to her shoulder. This didn't go unnoticed by Callisto, who huffed and shook her head. "So that's where he marked you." A deep sigh escaped the albino's lips as she looked at the girl. "Sweetheart, do you even know what it means to form a contract with the devil?"
"Of course I do! He grants me a wish and in return he gets my body and soul when I die...but since I'm healthy that can take years." A green little laugh rolled over the angel's lips. "Years…do you honestly believe you've got that much time?" Callisto stopped in her tracks and looked with a dead serious look at the human. "Naira, Satan won't wait till you die as an old woman. He will first use you in ANY way he can… and once you've fulfilled your purpose he'll gobble you down in one bite." Naira froze in her spot and tensed up. Her eyes widened in horror as she turned to look at the angel. "You're lying. He would never do that. Satan is the only person I can count on! He's done so much for m-"
"He's a demon! He has no heart, no feelings, no sympathy! You don't think he's helping you because he feels sorry for you, do you? You just happened to spark his interest and now he's made you his toy. An object which he can use in every way he pleases." Naira turned her head away and covered her ears. "Shut up! That's not true! He's the only one who cares for me! He was the only one who helped me, when YOU abandoned me!" Callisto walked over to the girl and grabbed her by her shoulders. "You're wrong Naira! I was there that night five years ago, just like I always have! I will stay by your side… till the very end."
Naira bit her bottom lip as she looked into those piercing blue eyes. "N-no! I don't believe you! He's not like that!" Before she knew it a tear rolled down her cheek. Callisto's eyes widened for a moment when she noticed the girl was crying. The angel's eyes saddened as she gently wiped the tear away. "Naira…" The teenager softly gasped as the albino pulled her into a warm embrace. Callisto softly exhaled and comfortingly caressed Naira's green hair. "Oh sweetheart, why don't you get it? I'm not the bogeyman here…I know what you're going through and that's why I'm trying so hard to help you." Naira sniffled, she knew she should actually push the angel away…but it felt so nice. Her embrace reminded her of somebody, though the girl couldn't remember who. "What do you know. You can't even imagine what I'm going through." A wry little smile spread on the angel's lips as she closed her eyes. "Oh trust me dear, I think I know it better than anybody…"
Naira blinked confused her eyes as she analyzed the woman's words. What did she mean by that? There was no time to think about it however. Suddenly Callisto snapped her eyes wide open, picked Naira up and jumped backwards, avoiding a projectile just in time. Somebody was attacking! Callisto hissed and looked with a glare at the attacker. "Hey! Watch where you're swinging that thing!" Naira's eyes widened as she looked at the object. It was a familiar dagger like thing attached to something that looked like a grey snake. But then Naira took a closer look…and noticed it was a tail! A very familiar looking tail. "I can swing my tail wherever I want, now-" A gasp escaped the teenager's lips as her suspicions were confirmed. There she was, Valendra…fully transformed and she looked like a volcano ready to explode. Her eyes were spitting fire and her mouth was drawn back into a snarl. "I want you to get your dirty hands of my uncle's pet. And do it quick, before I rip them off…angel."
I imagined Valendra would be a bratty child. Ah Satan, who did you send to do your bidding 8'D. I'm willing to bet Calli will outsmart her either way in the end. So now, waiting for le battle~~
